The road was shut for hours as police carried out investigations
At around 10pm, police issued a statement which said that Auchenhowie Road had been shut between Allandar Toll Roundabout and Glasgow Road as a result of the collision.
They warned that the closure would remain in place for 'some time' as officers carried out their investigations.It is understood that the road was reopened this morning.
