There could be one final spell of warm weather before winter kicks in, according to forecasters.
For Scots, this summer has been a fairly mixed one in terms of weather. June's scorching heatwave was followed by a wet and miserable July, with August being somewhat in-between.
It comes after forecasters said they could not rule out the current hot spell being the last this year before temperatures taper off. This could make up for one of the wettest July months on record followed by a mixed bag of sunshine and rain in August.
