Everton manager Sean Dyche gives latest transfer outlook and tries to find positives despite 1-0 defeat to Wolves
Everton manager Sean Dyche has revealed “there might be things getting closer” when it comes to more transfers coming through the door before the summer window slams shut - but has reiterated it is difficult for the club to do business with their current financial constraints.
Dyche said: “We’ve spoken about concern and that word before, it’s a reality. I’ve just seen it two out of three games, it’s been there for a long while I think, everyone knows that. “So we are trying to construct deals, there might be things getting closer but they’re only maybes, you don’t know until they’re actually done. To add it in, we’ve also got the injuries we’ve got: you look at Alex Iwobi, you look at Dwight McNeil and then Dominic Calvert-Lewin, trying to get him fit, they’re high performing players in my opinion.
