Everton are seeking to arrange a behind-closed-doors fixture for the upcoming international break according to manager Sean Dyche
Sean Dyche wants to arrange a behind-closed-doors friendly for Everton during the international break.
Last season’s top scorer has now recovered from ankle ligament damage sustained at Stoke City in pre-season - though Dyche acknowledged his decision to introduce him after just three days of full training was a move he would not typically make. The club’s injury problems were further exacerbated by knocks picked up this week by Michael Keane and Lewis Dobbin.
Asked about the injury situation, Dyche said: “They [Keane and Dobbin] got knocks in the week so unfortunately didn’t make it [to Sheffield]. I am hopeful they will both be fit after the international break.
