A SCOTTISH nursing home has announced plans to develop and implement the launch of a second “grief café” following initial positive feedback.

The grief cafe provides a space for people to talk about loved ones they have lost and to connect with others

QME Care in Kelso announced the plan in a bid to support members of the community following the death of a loved one. The trio have worked together to launch the new Sunflower Grief Cafe for locals, to provide support and to allow people to come together.Attendees will be able to talk about loss and grief with others in a similar situation.

Following the launch, the group have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback with many people returning every month.
