THE Scottish Child Payment has now reached more than 316,000 families across the country, according to the latest figures.
The payment of £25 per week, which is unique to Scotland, was reaching 316, 190 people – an increase of more than 13,000 compared to March of 2023.Social Justice Secretary Shirley-Anne Somerville said: “The Scottish Child Payment is one of our key measures in tackling child poverty.
“These statistics show the payment is reaching more of the children and young people who need it most.
