"At 2.30 am the accused engaged in an argument over a mobile phone. She left and entered the landing. She was followed by the accused into the stairwell and he grabbed her shoulder and began biting her," Ms Milligan said. The court was told that in a later incident, on 3 July, Walker turned up masked and armed with a foot-long steak knife at a person's home in a row over a jacket.
