Scots salon owners have told of their horror after finding their shop trashed following an early-morning robbery.
Lara, 41, sprinted to their beloved salon on Portobello High Street in her pyjamas after Joe received a startling text from a passer-by. Top news stories today "We had tempered glass that had been hand-painted in our door and when that smashes, it breaks into a million pieces. It was everywhere. Someone who lives nearby told me they heard a large bang at around 5.30am."He added: "We had no cash or valuables in the shop, the place had been trashed but the only thing they took was the picture of Portobello beach we had in the bathroom. You just never think something like this would happen in Portobello High Street.
