Autistic Tammi-Jo Traynor, 19, was found unconscious in a garden by a couple after being savagely beaten in East Kilbride.
A mum said she will be forever haunted by sound of her daughter's screams after the teen rang her for help while she was being viciously attacked. Tammi-Jo Traynor, 19, was set upon after meeting pals in East Kilbride on Monday, August 7.
"She had black eyes and it was horrific. I knew she was severely hurt but was just glad I had her, it was an absolute relief. My girl's screams will never leave me." "I feel lucky that I have still got her and I am thankful but I am horrified that this is what the young generation thinks is acceptable these days. I think the law needs to change as well, especially for kids with Autism because they are so vulnerable. There’s a lot of kids with Autism who get attacked."
"I heard banging and a voice shouting 'I’ll punch your f***ing head in you wee cow'. Other people were saying 'get her'. There was loads of banging and punching. I am imagining all sorts of stuff at this point."
