Murray Jordan, 6, has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and uncontrolled epilepsy, which results in almost 20 seizures a day

A Scots mum says she "fights every day to keep her son alive" after he suffered two strokes at birth. Emma Jordan, from Linwood in Renfrewshire, gave birth to her second child, Murray, in 2017.

Emma told Glasgow Live: "There were no problems with the pregnancy until he was born unresponsive and required resuscitation at birth. He was taken to the neonatal unit where he started showing signs of seizure activity. Murray's various medical needs means that he isn't able to live the life of a typical child his age. Emma said: "We were told that his disability would be quite severe. He was then diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and uncontrolled epilepsy.

The couple have had to learn a number of crucial medical techniques to make sure they can save their child when needed and they had to resuscitate Murray when he had two respiratory arrests last year.
