Nicole Thomson described how the incident left her brother and cousin 'traumatised' as Tia's neck reportedly broke instantly before the van allegedly fled the scene.
A Scots family were left 'traumatised' after their beloved dog died having been 'sent flying through the air in a callous hit and run' which left the pup with a broken neck.
Reportedly when Taylur stepped out onto the road to cross whilst holding Tia on her lead a van, described as red with yellow writing on the side, came "speeding" down the road before hitting the pup and sending her into the air report Edinburgh Live. She said: "Tia was out a walk with my brother Taylur and my cousin Calvin and they were at the cross road at the top of Rosewell going onto the railway walkway. She was on her lead and she was a very timid dog on roads.
