Passengers have been warned to plan ahead
Scotrail are warning customers in Glasgow that they could expect 'significant' delays during the latest round of strike action by RMT members of Network Rail.
Although the dispute does not involve ScotRail staff, it will have a knock-on-effect. However the RMT trade union have also announced strike action on October 10 due to a dispute with ScotRail. David Simpson, ScotRail Service Delivery Director, added: “It’s really disappointing to see more widespread disruption across the whole Great Britain rail network at a time when we need to be encouraging more people back to the railway.
