A thundery downpour is headed for Scotland on Friday as the Met Office says weather warnings could be imminent.
Scotland faces a deluge of rain this weekend as the 28C warm spell bound for England won't clear the border.
Heavy rain moving later on Friday will bring 'substantial' rainfall to parts of eastern Scotland and Northern Ireland.
