The watchdog accused Saudi forces of deliberately targeting unarmed men, women and children with machine gun fire and explosives. In a report based on first-hand testimony from survivors, Human Rights Watch described a ‘widespread and systematic’ pattern of killings. A 14-year-old girl named only as Hamdiya told the watchdog: ‘We were fired on repeatedly. I saw people killed in a way I have never imagined.
