The Saturday Kitchen host was missing from viewers screens this morning after previously announcing on social media he had suffered a terrifying health issue.
Saturday Kitchen fans were left confused after Matt Tebbutt disappeared from their screens this morning and was replaced by The One's Show Alex Jones.
The dad-of-two who normally hosts the popular Saturday morning show on BBC One, took to Instagram to share the story about his shock hospital dash last year. The television presenter complained that his health emergency has caused him to miss out on a lunch date with his pals but was full of praise for all of the hospital staff, doctors and nurses who attended to him after having his appendix removed.
The appendix needs to be removed as soon as possible, via keyhole surgery, and if left untreated it could lead to life-threatening complications. Matt's famous pals left their well wishes in the comments as they shared their concern about his emergency hospital dash.
