Interlagos has had its fair share of inclement weather in the past, and the forecast for the weekend’s Sao Paulo Grand Prix hints that wet weather could be on its way.

Another famous title decider in the same vein of 2008, 2009 and 2012 is not on the cards this time around because of both titles already being wrapped up for Max Verstappen and Red Bull, but the early forecasts indicate that tricky conditions at Interlagos could await the drivers once again., with overcast conditions expected and predictions of up to a 70% chance of rain during the day.

Temperatures are expected to hit 25°C, but there could be a 40% chance of thunderstorms over Sao Paulo on Friday, with the grid for sprint qualifying to be set., overcast conditions are set to continue but the probability of rainfall during the day is up to 90% in the morning, though this drops to a 65% chance in the afternoon, with sprint qualifying taking place at 4.30pm local time in Brazil with temperatures set to be at a slightly cooler 22°C.
