Immy Hall started to feel ill during her first year at university, but put it down to student life.
A Salford University student is undergoing chemotherapy after she found a big lump on her neck while rolling over in bed. Immy Hall, 20, was in her first year of her interior design course when she started to feel ill but put it down to student life and communal living, YorkshireLive reports.
Now back home with mum and dad, Jo and Peter and sister Jess, Immy is undergoing a three-month course of chemotherapy. Immy said: "Although the diagnosis still doesn’t seem real, I’m feeling good and I’ve recently been told, following an interim scan, that my treatment won’t take quite as long as we first thought, which is really great news."
"She’s bubbly, she’s cheerful, she’s loud, she’s always the centre of the group," he said. "If we’re doing something as a group, she’s always there. That’s not changed one bit."
