'If people have to walk a long way in the dark to get to and from their cars, it will be very dangerous'
Parking restrictions are being imposed in a residential area close to Salford Quays as well as Ordsall Park - against the wishes of some living in the area.
Salford Quays and Primrose Hill Primary School are nearby and Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium is within walking distance. Coun McCusker said that the parking restrictions were necessary to allow bin collection lorries to have access to the streets.
