Shoppers in Nottingham voiced their sadness after police confirmed the 'sudden death' of a man in the city centre. Nottinghamshire police officers were called to the Cornerhouse in Burton Street at about 2.20am on Sunday, December 18.
The incident caused shock among shoppers and workers in the area. Hia Dennison, assistant manager at Tamatanga in Trinity Square, said: “This is sad, that someone died. I’m passing all my best wishes to his family and friends.”She added: “I was shocked to see such a large police cordon. I wanted to know what’s happened - and this is just really sad.” Steve Brandson, who is 66 and works in the area, added: “I feel sorry for his family.
She added: “It is just very sad.” Investigators were seen going in and out of the Cornerhouse throughout the morning.
