The billionaire media mogul has said his fifth wife will be his last as he announced the engagement
Late Editor and Senior ReporterThe media mogul Rupert Murdoch has announced he is to wed for a fifth time after meeting broadcaster Ann Lesley Smith.
She is a former police chaplain and the widow of late country music star Chester Smith. In recent years she has turned to television and a career is an agony aunt. Smith said the relationship is “a gift from God”. She said the pair bonded because they “share the same beliefs” and “speak the same language”.
Smith has two ex-husbands. She was married to US music star Chester, who passed away of a heart attack in August 2008 at the age of 78.
