Charles Kelly, 56, was reported missing after leaving his home in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, on Wednesday, September 6, to go hillwalking.
Searchers have found the backpack belonging to a hillwalker who has been missing in Glencoe for six days, but there is still no sign of Celtic fan Charles Kelly.
Brian Bathurst, deputy team leader of Glencoe MRT, revealed that Mr Kelly's rucksack with clothing and some food in it had been found on Saturday down on 864 metre high Beinn Mhic Chasgaig. "We have been over the ground with a fine tooth comb - used drones, search dogs and a helicopter and we can find no other trace of him. The only thing we can think of is that he may have retraced his steps. Where he dropped the rucksack is really steep ground.
