Manchester City defensive midfielder Rodri scored the winner as the Blues survived a brief scare against Sheffield United
Manchester City's match-winner Rodri has hailed his team's patience after beating Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane.
His efforts would finally be rewarded after the hour mark when Jack Grealish picked him out at the back stick to give the Blues the lead. Five minutes before second-half stoppage time, United looked to have snatched a point when substitute Jayden Bogle fired home. "The mentality of the team, we did our job and I scored so I'm very happy. Sometimes football is like this, we know the level of this league, but it's a great win."
