Leicester delivered another uninspiring display as Brendan Rodgers' troubles continue LCFC CPFC LEICRY
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers remains in trouble after a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Rodgers failed to get the victory his side desperately needed to move out of the relegation zone as the Foxes delivered another uninspiring display.Leicester remain 19th in the table with just one win from their opening ten games in the top-flight and the final whistle was greeted with boos by some sections of the home faithful.
After defeat at Bournemouth last week, some suggested Rodgers needed a victory against Palace to save his job and fans will await news on the Northern Irishman’s future. Patrick Vieira’s Eagles were also disappointing and those at the King Power were forced to watch a match devoid of chances.England legend and ex-West Ham assistant Stuart Pearce believes it is the result of an ‘epidemic’ in the Premier League.“There’s an epidemic in the Premier League and in football at the moment,” Pearce said.“It suggests that when players have the opportunity to turn and play forwards, they can’t take that opportunity, turn and go backwards.
“Often it’s to a player in a worse position! Ward has had to deal with three back passes when he shouldn’t have even had one.”18+ New customers only.
