The TV presenter talks about loving a good self-help book and why her mum is her heroine
I’m in my office, so I can see my computer, and I’ve got a couple of books next to me too –by James Davies, who is my physio. I’ve also got a nice candle burning.by Dr Anne Lane, which is all about helping your child deal with big emotions.I love a self-help book. One of my favourites isby Robin Sharma. I find it really inspiring, although it’s quite spiritual so it might not be for everyone. He also wrote The 5AM Club, which is very “me”.
Everything is intentionally very neutral with no distractions.so many times when I was younger; I was constantly trying to make “perfumes” and potions in my garden by putting flowers and oils into an empty milk bottle. When it comes to cooking, I’m good at looking in the cupboard and rustling up a meal with whatever’s in there. [My husband] Marvin would say Little Miss Chatterbox.It’s a cliché, but it’s my mum. She is the rock of our family.
