In Castlereagh, a road and footway resurfacing scheme on the A23 Moneyreagh Road, from the Marylands Industrial Estate through Gransha Road/Knockbracken Road junctions for a distance of approximately 150 metres, is being undertaken.
Trafficwatch NI said: "To facilitate the scheme it will be necessary to implement a full evening/overnight road closure from Monday 1 August until Friday 5 August from 7.30pm and 6.00am."During these times a signed diversionary route will be in place using the B178 Hillsborough Road - A7 Belfast Road - A24 Saintfield Road - A55 Upper Knockbreda Road - A23 Ballygowan Road and vice versa.
In addition to this, from North Down to Holywood, the A2 Holywood Bypass will be closed Bangor bound from the B0198 Belfast Road Junction to the B0198 Bangor Road Junction overnight from 10pm to 5am from Monday, August 1 to Thursday, August 4 in relation to white lining and high friction surface works by DFI Roads.
