River City Academy is designed by BBC Studios, in partnership with Screen Scotland and its chiefs are looking for a cohort to start in January 2024.
River City is launching a 'first-of-its-kind' training academy to help get more creatives into the Scottish TV production industry.
Trainees will then have the opportunity to work with experienced trainers and professionals in their respective fields, shadowing the best in the business, gaining hands-on experience and preparing them for future roles on the production.
"Our mission is to upskill and train new and creative talent to become an asset to the show and the Scottish TV production industry. If you’re based in Scotland, have a passion for Continuing Drama Series, enjoy watching River City and want to work in Production then the River City Academy could be for you.
