Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has sent another message to the Glazers over their lack of communication regarding a possible takeover.
Rio Ferdinand has doubled down on his criticism of the Glazers over their lack of communication with Manchester United fans.
Ferdinand recently slammed United’s owners for their ‘undignified silence’ regarding a potential takeover and the former United defender has again called for improved communication with supporters.“You know, when they do, I’m going to be the one saying, ‘I told you’,” Ferdinand told FIVE, amid suggestions that Sheikh Jassim is edging closer to completing a takeover.
“That’s the thing they don’t understand, it’s [the fans’] club. They’re behind everything at the football club. The team, the manager and people behind the scenes run it but the fans are what make these clubs what they are. I don’t think they’ve been appreciated, respected or acknowledged in this whole process.
