We stopped by the city centre location for a quick weekday lunch

Nestled down a side street in Belfast city centre is a unique café offering a refreshing selection of brunch dishes inspired by South America.

The cafe is now under new management and has set its sights on creating a range of brunch dishes inspired by different regions of South America, from Argentinian chori pan sandwiches to ropa vieja inspired by Panama. Stepping out of the office for a sit-down lunch, we were worried in case we wouldn't have enough time on our lunch break, but we needn't have worried. The team at Panama seemed fully ready for the lunch rush, with our food arriving at our table just 15 minutes after we placed our order.

A lovely selection of coffees and traybakes lined the front counter, but we were too full to think about desserts this time.
