Residents in Antrim have been evacuated from their homes this afternoon following a security alert in the area.In a statement, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are in attendance at a security alert in the Barra Street area of Antrim this afternoon, Saturday, 19th November."A number of homes in the area have been evacuated and access is restricted at this time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
