Lancashire Police are again appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after two people died in a crash on the M6 at Leyland

The incident happened last Saturday at around 5.49pm when a Porsche Boxster and a Vauxhall Meriva collided on the southbound carriageway between junctions 29 and 28.

Sadly, three-year-old Faye Dawson who was travelling in the Vauxhall, and a 79-year-old man who was driving the Porsche both died. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. If any drivers have dashcam footage from the motorway around the time of the crash, they should also get in touch by contacting 101, quoting log 1102 of November 19, 2022.Sgt Craig Booth, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This collision has left both families grieving in a way most of us will never understand.
