Parades are taking places across Falkirk to mark the occasion and may involve road closures

Communities across Falkirk district are planning to mark Remembrance Sunday on November 12 with parades and services taking place at war memorials across the district.Haggs/Longcroft: The event starts at 10:45am, with a procession from Haggs Parish Church, 37 Kilsyth Road, Haggs, along A803 Kilsyth Road to Longcroft War Memorial for an act of remembrance. They will then return to Haggs Parish Church, which is organising the event.

The parade will leave at 10.40 am, turning right into Stirling Street, then left into Davies Row, Church Walk memorial gardens where a memorial service will be held. Grangemouth: The Grangemouth event will take place between 9:55am and 12:45 pm. The parade will leave Dundas Street, along into South Lumley Street, turning into Newhouse Road, left onto Abbots Road then right over bridge into Kersiebank Avenue, right into Craigleith Road along then left into Bowhouse Road stopping at the church.

Main Street to Dobbie hall for a 15 minute service, then back along Main Street, veering right passing health centre in Main Street, crossing zebra crossing still in Main Street marching to Larbert East Church. The event is organised by the Royal British Legion.
