This Sunday hundreds of thousands of Britons will stop to remember military personnel who gave their lives for their country.
The events are an opportunity to remember people who died in more recent conflicts and acknowledge people fighting in present day conflicts across the world.There will be numerous such events in Yorkshire cities, towns and villages this year on Sunday, November 12. Here they are in alphabetical order.What: Minute's silence followed by a short service which will include students from local schools, college and nurseries reading poems, laying wreaths and artwork.
