The M65 is closed this morning in both directions due to a police incident.
All traffic is being held on the motorway between junction five for Guide/Shadsworth and junction six forLancashire Police said the closure is due to an incident on Stanhill Road Oswaldtwistle. A spokesperson said: "Please expect delays and we will reopen as soon as possible."Officers are also on scene assisting with traffic management. A Diversion is in place and motorists are being warned to allow extra journey time.
