A 68-year-old pensioner was found injured on Victoria Road near its junction with Allison Street on Friday night.attempted murderA local resident said the incident, which happened at around 6.25pm, looked 'really serious' and it has left people concerned.
"We were wondering what had happened because it looked like something really serious with the tape and officers standing guard. "You should be able to walk down the street safely, particularly at that junction because it is so busy there at that time on a Friday night."
