The Steelmen face their toughest test of the season so far when they head to Ibrox on Sunday
Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell isn’t worried about his side heading to Ibrox to face Rangers on Sunday – because even in defeat they’re playing well.
Kettlewell felt Motherwell were the better side on the day and deserved more, but says that can be looked on as a good position to be in. The Steelmen passed up a host of chances, with 20 shots on goal in the defeat to Saints, and substitute Georgie Gent struck the crossbar with a fierce shot, but Motherwell couldn’t make the break-through.“Oli Shaw saw the whites of the goalkeeper’s eyes, Georgie Gent crashes one off the underside of the bar and it doesn’t quite fall to Bevis Mugabi.
“I’ll never use it as an excuse. I’ve been asked the question about missing lots of senior players, and of course we are, but I believe in the team.
