Halsted first invested in Rangers through his family's holding company, Perron Investments LLC, in 2021.Halsted has over 30 years of experience in private equity and is currently based in Wyoming.
Chairman John Bennett commented: “As well as being a consistent investor in the club over recent years, John has provided valuable insight and support to the RIFC Board and the executive management team.A statement on the club website confirmed:"Rangers Football Club today confirms the appointment of John Halsted as a director of RIFC plc.
"He was a founding partner of Pamplona Capital Partners, leading the firm to excel in global investment activities across sectors such as life sciences, energy, industrial, technology, and retail.
