It comes after the England star on Sunday returned to the UK from the World Cup in Qatar to comfort his family, who have been left shaken by the break-in at his Surrey mansion.footballer’s home in Oxshott, Leatherhead, and stole a “number of items” including jewellery and watchesThe force was contacted around 9pm on Saturday after the 27-year-old Chelsea forward’s family returned home to discover the burglary.
“Enquiries to establish the circumstances are underway and the investigation is ongoing. No threat of violence was involved as the items were discovered stolen retrospectively.”No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.
