Putin delivers a speech during a ceremony to unveil the first phase of the Battle of Kursk memorial complex on the day of the 80th anniversary of the end of the battle in the World War II is enjoying a night out amid reports that Wagner paramilitary group Yevgeny Prygozhin was killed in plane crash.
Footage shows the Russian president at a concert dedicated to the anniversary of Soviet troops’ victory in the Battle of Kursk during World War II. Another video showed him shaking hands with people attending the ceremony – all the while the business jet with 10 people on board plunged to the ground 60 miles northwest from Moscow.
As the news about the crash broke, Putin was seen smiling and going about his business as nothing had happened.
