The Old Smiddy was overwhelmed when punters flooded the pub with donations for community group Help The Homeless Glasgow.
Kindhearted punters flooded a Southside pub with donations of toiletries for the city's homeless population on Saturday.
Jason Barnes, an assistant manager at the Cathcart pub, said the turnout had been"absolutely amazing"."It’s mostly people local to the area and regulars at the pub and staff that have come to drop things off."We like to back things that are closer to home. The streets of Glasgow are in a bit of a wear-for-tear state and it's always good to support locals and know that we’re giving back to the city.
