Foresters Arms are offering a mighty breakfast challenge - can you take it on?
We've all woken up in the morning after a heavy night and craving a huge Full English breakfast. Sausages, bacon, black pudding, hash browns, fried bread and lashings of HP sauce always seems to do the job at the weekend.
If you're particularly hungry, you'd probably go for the full works with extra bits of everything. But do you reckon you could do six of everything? Just off of junction 27 of the M6 is the Foresters Arms at Standish, offering a mammoth breakfast challenge and it's not for the faint of heart. The challenge involves six of everything. And we mean everything.Introduced on Monday the challenge is £23. There's an incentive, because if you manage to finish it all then the food is actually free. However, you only have 30 minutes to complete the challenge.
You also can't leave the table, you can't swap the toast and you most certainly cannot share your food with others. You can swap items for one more of something else, you can also swap your beans or tomatoes for double of something else.Taking to social media, the pub announced the news of the 'new challenge' and it appears some of the locals fancy themselves to defeat the mammoth mountain of food.
The breakfast is served at the Foresters Arms from Monday until Thursday, 4.30pm to 8pm. On Friday it's 3pm to 8pm and Saturday 1pm to 8pm. The challenge is not served on Sundays.
