A series of inspections into the school found recently that safeguarding arrangements were ‘unsatisfactory'
The investigation comes weeks after issues around safeguarding at the school were highlighted as part of an inspection report.
“Police have received a report of allegations of non-recent inappropriate behaviour,” the spokesperson said.“We will continue to work with our partners to protect and safeguard children. There are no further details at this time.” The report, from the Education and Training Inspectorate, highlighted a number of concerns around safeguarding of pupils not being addressed by the school.
