Police Service of Northern Ireland Chief Constable Simon Byrne reads a statement outside James House in Belfast after a meeting of the Policing Board where the major data breach was discussed .Two men have been arrested by police officers in connection with majorThe data was accidentally shared last month and included the surname and initials of 10,000 PSNI employees.
The men, who are among four people arrested in relation to the breach, are currently being quizzed by officers at Musgrave police station in Belfast A 39-year-old was arrested on 16 August on suspicion of collection of information likely to be useful to terrorists, before later being released on bail.The man appeared in court on 21 August and before being remanded in custody for four weeks.
In a statement released through her solicitor, the unnamed woman said she is not a police officer and has never been employed by the PSNI in any capacity.
