Emergency services were called to Beatty Crescent in Kirkcaldy, at around 9 pm on Sunday, July 2 following reports of a road traffic accident.
An investigation has been launched after a biker struck a bus in a Fife town before fleeing the scene.
Officers from Police Scotland say enquiries are ongoing to trace the biker who left the scene before cops arrived. One passenger from the bus was taken to hospital as a precaution. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9pm on Sunday, 2 July 2023, police were called to a road crash on Beatty Crescent, Kirkcaldy, involving a motorbike and bus. The rider of the motorcycle left the scene before prior police attendance and enquiries are ongoing to trace the person.
