Zoey Coffey, Grace McSweeney and Nicole Murphy got 'excellent results' in their Leaving Cert just hours before they died
Two school principals have paid tribute to "beautiful" graduates Zoey Coffey, Grace McSweeney and Nicole Murphy who got “excellent results” in their Leaving Cert just hours before they died.
“We mourn the loss of our Leaving Certificate students Zoey Coffey and Grace McSweeney who lost their lives in yesterday’s tragic accident. We also remember Grace’s brother, Luke McSweeney, and Nicole Murphy, a student from our neighbouring school Loreto.” “No words can express our sorrow, pain and grief. Zoey and Grace were two beautiful students loved by everyone who met them and achieved such excellent results on Friday.
“Zoey’s personality was warm and vibrant. She was funny, kind and determined. Zoey was a diligent worker and was very popular with her peers and her teachers.Loreto principal Anne McGrath said the school was mourning the loss of Nicole. “During her time in Loreto, she developed into a young woman who was kind, gentle and witty and she was a trusted and loyal friend.”
