'Services like these remind me of what I love so much about Christmas'
CouncilThe series of concerts includes The Princess of Wales’ carol service at Westminster Abbey which will take place on December 15.
An event of festive cheer and joy, was as an opportunity to thank those who lead with empathy, compassion and kindness in their communities. Elements of the Westminster Abbey service were also featured in the event, and guests received a special foreword written by The Princess of Wales. Lord Lieutenant, Jacqueline McLaren, the Lord Provost, said: “What a joy to be able to be part of this UK wide Carol Service.
“Services are being held this month across the UK in Belfast, Birmingham, Middlesborough, Newcastle, Peterborough, Telford and Swansea.She said: “I’m so thrilled that you have been able to attend this community carol service.
