Producers of the The Crown have been slammed for including Princess Diana's 'ghost' in the final series of the hit royal drama but the late royal's former butler claims the scene is quite 'appropriate'.

The 65-year-old worked for Princess Diana from 1987 until her death in 1997 and was known to be a close friend to the royal, the Express reports."Netflix is using Princess Diana’s story as the main thread of this series and it's possibly going to upset a lot of people, especially Charles and Camilla.
The hit show will release it's final season in two parts, with the first four episodes being released on November 16 and the remaining six on December 14. The former royal butler went on to say that many Brits "truly feel" that "Diana is the best Queen we never had and it was her rightful place."
