The death of Diana, Princess of Wales will be featured in the final season of The Crown - however, producers have vowed the tragic car crash will be handled 'sensitively'
An executive producer of The Crown has said Diana, Princess of Wales’s death in season six will be recreated sensitively.
She said: “The show might be big and noisy, but we’re not. We’re thoughtful people and we’re sensitive people. Diana will be once again be portrayed by Elizabeth Debicki, who took on the role of the Princess for the last series.Suzanne credited Elizabeth as an “extraordinary actress”. He said: “I think that the passing of Her Majesty undoubtedly impacted on us all and [writer Peter Morgan] in particular.”
