William is said to be keen for Harry and Meghan to stay in America
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sensationally stepped down as senior royals in 2020 to start a new life in the US, but new reports suggest they may return soon.
It's been reported that Prince William would have to bankroll Harry and Meghan if they decided to return to UK life, despite their rocky relationship. Harry is seemingly "desperate" to return to England, and one expert believes that William will be pushing for his brother to remain away to avoid funding the pair.
"But it would quickly disappear should Harry and Meghan return to the gilded cage. Willliam would have to fund their duties, housing costs and schooling of Archie and Lilibet." In his tell-all memoir, Harry claimed that King Charles warned him he didn't have "enough money" to support both him and Meghan when the couple got married in 2018.The Sussexes are reportedly facing money woes in California after being dropped from their $20million Spotify deal, after only producing a 12 episode series Archetypes in two years.
