The five-part documentary based on the build up to the Invictus Games was released on the streaming platform at 8am today.
It is the first series to be announced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes' Archewell Productions company, which forms the next part of the couple's multi-million pound deal with Netflix.
Netflix shared the official trailer for Heart of Invictus earlier this month to prepare viewers for an emotional journey as they follow the lives of injured service personnel and veterans, the Express reports. Later, Harry is pictured meeting competitors and reassuring them as he says “everyone is going to struggle at some point”.One powerful clip shows a Ukrainian woman speaking on a video call before pausing as shelling begins nearby.
"As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service.” Their six-part series saw the pair shed light on their troubled lives as royals as they made a number of shocking accusations against 'the Firm' with some directed specifically at individual members of the royal family.
