Prince Harry's 30 hour trip to the UK as he jets back to California immediately after Coronation
This wasn't entirely unexpected, with the Coronation falling on the same day as Archie's fourth birthday, and as the relationship between the Sussexes and other royals grows frostier following the publication of Harry's controversial memoir, Spare.
Harry jetted into the UK on a commercial American Airlines flight from Los Angeles and landed at Heathrow Airport on Friday morning at 11.23am, according to MailOnline. He walked into the church between his cousins Princess Beatrice and Eugenie and their respective husbands, ahead of the two-hour ceremony which would see father and step-mother Camilla be crowned.
His trip to the UK is without his wife Meghan Markle, 41, who has remained at their home in the US, where she will be celebrating their son Prince Archie's fourth birthday, which is the same day as his grandfather's coronation.Harry was seen smiling again as he departed Westminster Abbey in a black car, with the same car later spotted being escorted out of the capital by a police motorcade which headed west through the city.
